Thank you everyone for the awesome year we had for OCC! We met our goal of 100 boxes! This year we have set a God size goal of 200 boxes! With prayer and hard work, I know this goal is obtainable.
2024 Operation Christmas Child News from our OCC Ministry leader, Cindy Phillips...
For the month of March, we are collecting toys for boys ages 5-9 and 10-14. We are looking for items that will fit into a shoe box. These can be cars, trucks, musical instruments, plastic animals, small balls, or any other toys. Soccer balls are a favorite for all of the children, and we can deflate regular size balls for the box. If you choose to do this, you must also include a pump and a pin. Scary and military items are NOT allowed (see the complete list below of items NOT included). We want to double the number of boxes that we sent this past year, so we need lots of toys to fill these boxes! We will have containers at both church entrances in which to place your donations.
ITEMS NOT ALLOWED
- Vaseline
- War related items (toy soldiers, military vehicles or wearable camouflage.
- Rubber balls with liquid filling
- Matches or fire starters
- Sand/rocks/shells gathered from nature
- Medications or vitamins
- Nail polish
- Baby powder
- Razors
- Breakable items or glass containers
- Used clothing or toys
- Scary items (things that will frighten a child rather than bring joy)
- Liquid paint sets or liquid glue
- Liquid lip gloss
- Seeds
- All types of food, candy or gum
- Toothpaste
- Money or play money
- Baking soda
- Liquids or lotions
- Aerosol cans
